Hey guys, a few days ago i decided to change my hair colour because i was fed up of my horrible, streaky multi-coloured hair! >_< So i went to my local Boot's and bought the L'Oreal Excellence Creme hair dye in 8.1 - Natural Ash Blonde. I've never tried this one before but i tend to stick with L'Oreal as their other hairdye has never failed me with a good outcome! So i thought i'd try this one since the packaging said 'New Balm' and more protective than my usual one. Also i tend to go towards hair dyes with the word 'Ash' in as this will give the hair a more greyish undertone instead of copper.
This is what the box looks like and the contents that come with the hair dye. The special 'balm' that is different to other hair dyes is the little tube of hair protecter which you apply before you start dyeing your hair and it prevents too much damage to your hair which i think is really good!
So now its time to show you my hair before i dyed it!
My hair is horrible and streaky and my roots have all grown out, hence why i really felt i needed to dye it!
Now for pictures of my hair after dyeing it!

Ta-daaaa! Image 1 is the hair colour with flash, 2 in natural lighting, 3 in direct sunlight from the window.
Big improvement from my previous hair!, the colour has applied evenly and has fully covered my black roots and the result is bright and lighter than my old hair which is perfect for summer time! :)
About the hairdye:
If you want to see how i dye my hair and some tips of what i do whilst dyeing, i have a video on my YouTube channel which i will link below!
Thanks for reading guys, have a great week!

About the hairdye:
- Is enriched with pro-keratin, ceramide and collagen which protects the hair and strengthens it.
- Pretty sure it will cover grey hairs if it dyed through my black roots!
- Includes a comb applicator as well as the applicator tip - i found the comb to be pretty useless so i stuck with the tip
- Is not ammonia free so open a window when dyeing your hair
- Takes 30minutes to develop after dyeing
- Great colour payoff (ofcourse this differs with each person due to the different hair types, i have quite fine hair so maybe colour applies easier?)
